Time to Retrieve

Throughout the globe almost in each and every country there is the presence of distinct humanities and culture, which speak eloquently of the existence of a rich civilizing heritage in that country. To be very precise, each and every country has its own historical and cultural legacy, although for several decades this was totally unacceptable to both of the Americans and Europeans. May be due to their practice of colonization the Americans and Europeans had pleasures in denying the existence of any such civilized society in the length and breadth of Africa. In this context to some schools of thoughts in the discipline of history, the Africans were nothing more than savages whose only contributions to the world were farming and slaves. However, this is far from true and on the contrary the reality is just the opposite. From various excavations and chronicles it has been found that the history of ancient Africa is just as interesting, complex, and sophisticated as any other ancient civilization. But it is highly surprising that almost without exception it is only Egypt that receives any consideration at all when writing history. It is for this ordained mindset both the European and American historians have long advocated the age old belief that Africa and its inhabitants had no culture or history of their own, except what was given to them by outside factors.

But with more studies startling facts in greater numbers are coming to the fore. What has been found by the latest discoveries is that long before the colonization of Europeans, the African civilization had its glorious days. They had built their own kingdoms and monumental structures to portray the essence of their culture, which was then at the pinnacle of glory, that were quite enough able to rival any European monarchy. However a great section of this colossal Black history has been distorted and ignored, thanks to racial prejudice, with the intention of justifying the enslavement of millions for financial gains. Thus a major source and foundation of one of the most vital parts of humanities and culture in the international arena has been lost. Now with the advent of new technology and ideals of democracy and socialism it is to see how this age can retrieve that lost history. To procure the humanities and culture in the global scale this is highly important.
